Worcester College, Oxford

Worcester College occupies around a twenty-six acre areas of wooded grounds including sports fields and lake. The college is a few minutes walk from the city centre bus and railway stations. The college aims at providing a supportive and friendly social and academic environment with excellent facilities for sport and strong theatrical and musical traditions.

Worcester College welcomes students with diverse background. The college has a fine combination of modern and ancient. The chapel, library and dining hall were built by some of the Britain's superb eighteenth and nineteenth century architects. The residential accommodation encompasses fifteenth century monks' cottages as well as modern rooms. All such rooms are equipped with telephones and connected to the university computer network. There are beautiful gardens, which create a pleasant environment in the college.

All graduate accommodation is situated on residential streets surrounding the college.

Single Accommodation

  • A purpose-built hostel with shared kitchen and en-suite shower rooms facilities
  • Several houses converted for student use. Each house has six to nine bedrooms with communal dining/living/kitchen areas and shared bathroom facilities
  • Minimum letting period ten months

Couple Accommodation

  • Limited number of flats that may be available for graduates with partners (suitable for one couple and two small children)
  • Minimum letting period eleven months
  • All graduate accommodation is equipped with kitchen facilities and meals are available in college during term time
