The University of Oxford offers an undergraduate course in Psychology and Philosophy. This combined course is well-built and designed with the purpose of providing high standard education. Some of the careers will require further study and training after graduation degree. The degree in Psychology and Philosophy is accredited as conferring eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society, provided students to study psychology and the least standard of a Second Class Honours is achieved. This is the first footstep towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.

Recent Oxford graduates in Psychology and Philosophy include a clinical psychologist and a trainee teacher. Lily, one of the Oxford graduates has completed MA in Gallery Studies and consequently worked at the Jewish Museum. Later, she moved to the V & A as an Assistant Curator. Presently, she is working as a researcher on a major exhibition.

Entrance Requirements

  • A-levels: AAA
  • Advanced Highers: AA/AAB
  • IB: 38 - 40 comprising core points
  • Or any academic equivalent

It is recommended for candidates to have studied one or more Mathematics or Science subjects to A-level, Higher Level or Advanced Higher in the IB or any other equivalent.
