Lincoln College - University of Oxford

Lincoln College is situated in the centre of the city and close to the university departments and libraries. Lincoln is known for its strong commitment to graduate study and graduate students form a high proportion of the student body.

Fellows and graduates are encouraged to meet informally at termly conversazione featuring debates and talks at fortnightly MCR lunches, at High Table and at regular and very famous MCR dinners.

Most probably, Lincoln was the first college in Oxford to offer a Middle Common Room (MCR). The present Common Room is situated in the centre of the historic college site. It has colour TV, a VCR, newspapers and bar. MCR is a famous meeting place, especially, after meals.
