The course in History and Economics is designed with the purpose of providing students fundamental tools of Economics and History while introducing them to some of the areas that they may study later thoroughly. Students shall be given a broad range of subjects. Students are encouraged to study economics that is designed and modified to offer a solid understanding of the basics of micro and macro economics. The Economics course is matching to that for Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Generally, students for both courses are taught together.

Career Opportunity:

There are many career options available for students who have completed their graduation in History and Economics. These career options may include law, industry, teaching, management consulting and public services such as civil services, the Bank of England and diplomatic services. Entrance Requirements:

  • IB: 38 - 40 comprising core points
  • Or any other equivalent

Students are advised to have both History and Mathematics to A-level, Higher Level or Advanced Higher in the IB or any academic equivalent.
