The University of Cambridge offers an undergraduate course in Natural Sciences, which is an excellent course. In the first year, part first 'A', students study three experimental sciences and one paper in mathematics. Students are generally directed into physical or biological natural sciences and they must indicate on their application where their interest lies.
Students may change their direction before they start or as they progress. Students choose their subjects at the beginning of the first term in discussion with their Director of Studies. Students have three hours of lectures for each subject. These lectures may include supervision per week and some practical work.
