Exam Pattern
Generally, the entrance test will be conducted in the month of July. Admissions will be purely made only on the basis of students' performance in the entrance exam. This entrance test includes a booklet. The booklet consists of 300 objective type questions. Time duration of the test is 3 hours. Candidates will be provided with OMR sheet. Since it is objective type question paper, students are to select one correct answer and mark it by using with Dark Black Pen only.
There is no additional paper for candidates who are opting for B.A. LLB. (Hons.) course. Candidates have to mention their choice at the time of counseling. There are two different seats of exam. One is for five years B.A.LLB. (Hons.) and five year B.A.LLB. Second is for three years LLB. Course. Question pattern of the paper is based on graduate level students (for three years LLB.) and 10+2 level students for five years B.A. LLB., and B.A. LLB. (Hons.)

Note : There is negative marking for incorrect response. For each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.
This entrance exam is conducted by an authorized by Punjab government, the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amirtsar. Candidates who have qualified this exam can take admission to law courses in university or in the colleges affiliated to:

- Punjab University, Chandigarh
- Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar
