TANCET - Application Procedure
The application form is common for all the three tests. The candidates are required to submit only one application form along with a fee of Rs. 300 for general category candidates and Rs. 150 for ST/SC category candidates. This fee is paid only for either of the programmes as mentioned below.
- M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./ M.Plan.
There is only a fee of Rs. 300 for each programme. But if the candidates wish to appear for more than one programme then they need to pay Rs. 300 additional as a fee for each programme. However, the candidates who fall under SC/ST category and who belong to Tamil Nadu are required to pay Rs. 150 as a fee.
How to do registration?
The registration can be done in two ways: spot registration and registration through internet. Candidates can receive hall tickets only in person from the exam centers as mentioned below. To get the hall ticket he/she needs to pay a Demand Draft for a requisite amount towards entrance exam fee along with a photocopy of the mark sheet of 10th standard.
The registration can also be done online. Candidates have to sign in the university website www.annauniv.edu/tancet2009 to register. The Demand Draft has to be obtained from any Nationalized Bank and must be drawn in favour of The Director, Entrance Examinations, Anna University Chennai, Payable at Chennai. The candidates must make sure that the application form must reach before or on the last date of the submission. The duly completed application form must be sent to the following address.
