RMAT Test Pattern
The selection procedure comprises of group discussion, written test, and interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks that a candidate obtains in the written test, group discussion and interview.
The candidates need to score at least 20% marks in the written test to appear for the next round that is the Group Discussion (GD). However, the candidates who fall in ST/SC/OBC category need to score at least 15% in the written test to appear for the GD and the personal interview.
Written Test comprises of:
- Reasoning and Aptitude
- Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Mathematical Ability
- English Language Proficiency
- General Awareness
There are five sections in the written test and each carries 40 marks. Every section has 40 multiple-choice/objective type questions with 4 alternative answers for each. Each question bears one marks. However, there is no negative marking for any wrong answer. The paper is of 200 marks. The exam is conducted every year in the month of June. RMAT Admission Procedure
The eligible candidates have to fill an Option Form with a Demand Draft for Rs. 8, 000 in favor of the coordinator RMAT payable at Jodhpur. The Option form will not be valid without the fees. Candidates will be provided with the Option Form and other instructions on the day of the exam. The admission will be given on the basis of merit. If two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the written test, then the preference will be given to the total percentage of marks obtained in the degree exam.
The allotment of institute shall be done on the basis of merit, seats available, and the order of options filled by the candidates in the option form. Candidates are not allowed to make any correction once the option form is submitted. There is will be no admission after the last date, which is fixed by the chairperson of RMAT.
The candidates will get their admission card for RMAT at the address mentioned in the application form. The permission given to the candidate for appearing the test can be cancelled by the coordinator if he/she is found ineligible.
