JGLS - A Five-Year LL.B. Degree Programme
Candidates who are domicile of Haryana and registered for the LSAT-India test for admission to law programmes at JGLS shall be eligible to apply for the Government of Haryana consented fee concession as per the below mentioned procedure.
Candidates can download the prospectus and application form from Jindal Global Law School website. They can also go through the admission procedure which has been mentioned on the law school website. Candidates who are domicile of Haryana should apply by means of submitting the duly completed application form on the prescribed date. The application form must be accompanied with an essay of 300 words and required documents. Once the submission process has ended, the Committee on Scholarships and Fellowships of JGLS shall assess the application materials and further eligible candidate will get shortlisted for an interview.
The selected candidates for next round need to appear for an interview. The Committee on Scholarship and Fellowship of JGLS may take the interview round where selected candidates need to execute successfully their round in order to get selected for admission. Since it is regional criteria for admission, candidates who are domicile of Haryana can only apply to the JGLS.
Fee Concession for the Students of Haryana
4% out of the 10% shall get 100% fee concession
3% out of the 10% shall get 50% fee concession
The balance of the 3% shall get 25% fee concession
As per the consent of Government of Haryana, O.P. Jindal Global University shall offer fee concession to its students who are domicile of Haryana. Candidates who claim for fee concession require being domicile of Haryana and he/she needs to provide their eligibility by way of producing required documents at the time of admission. A minimum of 10 % of seats shall be reserved for candidates who are domicile of Haryana. The break up of fee concession for the 10 % of students domicile in Haryana is as mentioned below.
It must be noted that the fee concession applies to tuition fee merely.
There is concession in admission fee for the students who are domicile of Haryana. The fee concession is granted on the basis of individual merit-cum-means by the JGLS Admission Committee. Merit consists of achievement in extra-curricular activities, academic achievement, and community services. Financial need will be considered with regard to the income of student and his/her parents or guardian's income sources that are available to the student.
