As far as mooting is concerned, it is one of the most essential activities to be conducted in every law college. GNLU mooting is a well-known moot programme. There is a moot court committee who organizes this programme. From every batch, four students get selected through interview for moot committee. Mooting is the best way to reinforce the fundamental law skills like debating, arguing, etc. Every year there is an intra-moot court competition conducted by the committee. This comprises two rounds. The university selects some students who performed well in the second round of mooting and will send them to represent the university to national and international moot court competitions. This is a golden opportunity for students to represent the university at an international level.
This competition organized is to accelerate students' potentials and strengthen basic law skills. That is the reason every student feels proud of being selected to represent their respective University. This encourages them to follow moral and ethics not only in their professional, but also in their daily life. Since there is no second chance to moot in a year, every student tries to perform well in debating event by means of putting their thoughts across effectively.
