Once candidates are done with the test, they will be short-listed for the next round. Candidates will be selected only on the basis of their performance in the written test. The short-listed candidates will be called to appear for the subsequent interview round. Candidates who are short-listed for the Acting Course will need to appear for Screen and Audition Test. They will have to appear for the test at selected centers only. Finally, candidates will get admission to Acting Course based on their performance in Screen and Audition Test.
Candidates who are short-listed for Certificate Course shall need to appear for an interview which will be held at Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.
Applicants’ roll number will be displayed outside the exam hall in the afternoon on the prescribed day for the entrance exam. Hence, candidates are advised to locate it at least 30 minutes in advance. It must be noted that the roll number in the admit card should be written as same in the answer book. No candidate is allowed to write his or her name in the answer book, only roll number has to be written. Candidates are not allowed to write their name in the answer book. FTII does not provide accommodation for the candidates who wish to appear for the test. Candidates have to make arrangement for lodging, boarding and traveling on their own.
Candidates have been called to take the written test only on the basis of the information provided by them in the application form. Candidates must make sure that he/she meets the prescribed eligibility for the course. If any candidate is found to be ineligible, their candidature will be cancelled and no further correspondence will be made. Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying exam are also allowed to take the entrance test. However, their admission will be provisional and subject to producing required documents at the time of admission.
