Application Form and Prospectus
Students who wish to take admission to CRAFT need to apply for the course in prescribed application format. Students can obtain the prospectus and application form from CRAFT office. It can also be downloaded from the website. Students must ensure that the form ought to be filled in appropriately. The duly completed form has to be sent to the CRAFT address. The form should be accompanied with bank draft of application fee of Rs. 1, 000 drawn in favour of Center for Research in Art of Film and Television payable at Delhi.
Students can apply online. Indian students are required to send one passport size photograph with their name and address mentioned separately on a full scape sheet to the CRAFT institute and a bank draft of application fees of Rs. 1, 000 drawn in favour of center for research in art of film and television payable at Delhi.
Placement
CRAFT believes in extensive and meticulous training that inculcates confidence among the students. With the help of training sessions, students learn tactics of appearing for interview. Therefore, finding a good job in the industry is not a big issue for them. Nonetheless, the responsibility of CRAFT is not over after giving training. On the contrary, the film school tries to find students the best position as per their aptitude.
CRAFT has a placement cell. The cell facilitates students to get good employment. The responsibility of a placement cell is to circulate the catalogue of the batch to find good jobs for students. The film school is committed to build a union of CRAFT in the media industry.
Hostel
Presently, CRAFT does not have hostel facilities. However, student's coordinator helps outstation students finding economical and comfortable accommodation in the neighborhood of CRAFT. The film school has canteen, which provides snacks during tea break.
Admission Procedure
The selection of students is purely based on personal interview in Delhi at CRAFT office. After applying in the prescribed form, students will be called to appear for an interview in Delhi. Students will be given date and timetable of the interview. The panel of experts conducts the interview. In the interview, students will be asked questions relevant to the chosen course. The aim of this interview is to evaluate student's level of understanding. It is mandatory for every student to pass the interview for admission to the selected subject.
It should be noted that the application form must be reached before the last date of submission. Application arrived after the last date will not be accepted in any circumstances. The result of interview will be declared in seven days from the date of interview.
After selection, students need to submit the application form along with fee and other relevant documents to the CRAFT admission department. Even after admission, if a candidate is found to be ineligible, his/her admission will stand cancelled without prior intimation to them and no complaint will be entertained in this regard. CRAFT has management quota. There are two seats in each course where students take direct admission.
