Exam Structure
The exam mainly aims to assess the candidates’ skills such as visual and textual presentation, creativity alternate concepts, problem analysis, justifications for their solutions. CEED exam comprises of two parts. The first part assesses the candidates’ skills like, aesthetic sensibility, problem identification ability, creativity, drawing skills and candidates’ approach to visual and mechanical (production) design. On the other hand, the second part is of objective type and assesses the candidates’ skills in creativity, comprehension, visualization, design and general awareness.
CEED score is valid for two years. However, qualifying CEED exam does not mean that the candidate will get the admission. This exam is one of the steps towards getting the admission. After qualifying the exam they need to apply to the IITs. IISc for admission with their CEED exam score.
