CEE – Nominees of Government of India

a) The Wards/Children of India based staff posted at Indian Missions abroad will get provided one seat over and above the normal total intake in both DCE and NSIT institutions taken together. However, the candidates need to pass qualifying exam from outside India. The Ministry of External Affairs G.O.I., New Delhi will nominate against this seat. The person who is sponsored by the Government of India on a task abroad will get treated like the staff posted in Indian Mission abroad.

b) There are three seats in Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology and six seats in Delhi College of Engineering over and above the normal intake for the candidates from developing and friendly countries.

Six seats in DCE to be allotted: (Subject and number of seats)

  • Electrical – 1
  • Electronics and Communication – 1
  • Mechanical – 1
  • Civil – 1
  • Production – 1
  • Computer – 1

Three seats in NSIT to be allotted: (Subject and number of seats)

  • Electronics and Communication – 1
  • Computer Engineering – 1
  • Instrumentation and Control Engineering – 1

The Government of India will nominate against these seats.

The above mentioned vacancies will be made unreserved in the relevant region if the sufficient number of eligible candidates is not available. The candidates who fall in these any of the categories are required to submit the proof for claiming the seats. At the time of counseling, the candidates are needed to submit the original certificate of their reserved category. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/CW should submit the proof in original issued by the competent authority who states the Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste.
