AIL - Admission Procedure
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with at least 45 % marks. However, candidates who are appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply.
- Candidates should not exceed 21 years of age at the time of admission.
- Candidates who come under the reserved category need to submit required documents to prove their eligibility.
There are total 80 seats available for admission to the B.A. LLB a five-year degree programme. The break up of seats is given as follows.

Candidates who wish to take admission to the BA.LLB a five-year degree course at AIL need to appear for the entrance exam. The Common Entrance Test will be conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar at the centers mentioned below.

How to Apply?
Candidates need to apply to GNDU Amritsar as well as AIL in the prescribed formats. The prospectus and application form are available at AIL counter. Candidates can also download it from the GNDU website www.gndu.ac.in . It must be noted that candidates fill in the Application-cum-Admission form of AIL to get eligible for admission to the law school. The prospectus and application form of law institute and GNDU admission form can be obtained in person or by post. The form can also be obtained by post from AIL and office of HQ of MoD (Army), Build. No. 202, Shankar Vihar, Delhi Cantt-10, New Delhi.
Candidates can also download the prospectus and application form from AIL website www.armyinstituteoflaw.org. To get the prospectus in person, candidates are required to send a Demand Draft in favour of Army Institute of Law payable at Mohali, Chandigarh. Every candidate must make sure that the duly completed application form should reach before or on the last date of submission.
