AIL - Academics
The Army Institute of Law has introduced teaching method which consists of interactive and participative learning. AIL keeps the regular classes more excited and interactive through seminars, projects, assignment, etc. The law school organizes Moot Court Competitions as it is a vital part of law programme. Students who have performed well in the moot court will get selected to represent their respective law school at national and international moot court competition. The Army School of Law organizes visit to various legal firms to give practical knowledge to its students in order to enhance their basic law skills.
The Army Institute of Law offers an integrated five-year B.A. LLB programme. AIL follows semester system and each term is divided into two semesters which consists of 5 subjects each. The semester wise subject list is given as follows.

AIL students are given a project in every semester. The projects like moot courts and seminars where students are expected to do hard work and research deserve practical marks. The moot court bears 50 % marks of practicals in the senior semester. The Army Institute of Law is affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala. Students require to obtain at least 50 % marks to get enrolled in the next semester. The law school invites prominent lawyers, judges, senior army personnel and other renowned academicians from various institutions for interaction with its students.
